Solemn Oath Brewery and Emporium Popups announce The Void, a twenty-four day spectacle of beer, collaboration, friends, music, and good vibes born from the SOB family happening from October 11 through November 3. As always, the beer will be flowing steadily. The jams will be back-to-back.
The event will host a rotating lineup of Solemn Oath beers, including the debut of dual collaboration beers between Emporium and SOB in Afterlife Kids and Shake Senora and will take place at Emporium Arcade Bar’s flux space. Solemn Oath’s Goldmund, a Mexican Hot Chocolate Stout, and a wood-aged version will be released at the close of the pop-up on Saturday, November 3.
Afterlife Kids is a double dry-hopped India Pale Ale with enough Denali, Citra, and Simcoe to satisfy the dead, deadski, gone, split, out of here, afterlife kids, deceased-ahh. All the aroma, 7% ABV,  and available in portable handhelds.
Shake Senora is a 5.5% Hazy Pale Ale double dry hopped with the truly unique tropical fruit and apple-pear nose-breaking Calypso hops. Extremely sessionable and a fierce original. The urge to do the Calypso dance is overwhelming you. It throws your body in the air and rocks you in time with the tropics. Most nights will feature events with partners including Cards Against Humanity (TBA), Plant Shop Chicago (TBA), Aux Cord DJs/These Days (every Saturday), Inhuman Conditions (TBA), Holy Mountain Brewing (October 14), Cigar City Brewing (TBA), and more.
Hours are as follows: Thursday 5PM – 2AM, Friday 5PM – 2AM, Saturday 5PM –  2AM, Sunday 5PM – 2AM, Monday Closed, Tuesday 5PM – 2AM, Wednesday 5PM – 2AM. The pop-up will run from 10/11 – 11/3.

We’re tapping Scottie Sippin’ Graf, a cider-beer hybrid! Kevin Cary, one of the founders of Begyle Brewing, and his brother, Adam Cary, the head of quality control at 2 Towns Ciderhouse, decided to bring both teams together and come up with something rarely seen in today’s craft market, a Graf (cider-beer hybrid). The collaborative Graf is made with a French Saison base and Newtown Pippin apple juice. This Begyle/2 Towns collab is super rare - come try it!

The Map Room Chicago is going to be putting Alter Brewing Co.'s new wet-hop IPA on the map October 11th! Join our Chicago rep Mallory and be one of the first to taste this brand new beer. In addition, we'll also have a special cask of our tasty robust porter Alto Porto - the only cask in the city!
Next Stop Wet Hop IPA is a collaboration with the The Museums at Lisle Station Park. We used Centennial hops picked right at the museum and combined them with freshly delivered local Crystal and Chinook hops from Hop Head Farms.

Welcome the fall season with a beer tasting! Oktoberfest celebrations happen throughout Europe; the Chicago Botanic Garden will celebrate locally.
Check in at the McGinley Pavilion and receive a wristband, tasting glass, and tasting sheet. Breweries will pour different seasonally selected beers in 2-ounce tastings. Light fare and featured beer by the bottle will be available for purchase. Come to “drink in” the best of the season!
Tickets to this event are nonrefundable. Due to the popularity of this event, we encourage you to buy tickets in advance. A confirmation will arrive via email once your order is received. Tickets are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Space is limited. Advance tickets may also be purchased at the Garden's Information Desk in the Visitor Center. Lake Effect 45th Ward Pale Ale is brewed with all local hops grown right here in the neighborhood by friends, neighbors and adventurist gardeners. Come taste the 5th Annual version of this beer which keeps getting more delicious each year! Cascade, Centennial, Chinook, Nugget, and Zeus are just some of the known varieties in this annual harvest ale. We will raffle off prizes during the night to raise funds for art projects in the neighborhood. Come on out, this will be lots of fun. Free to attend, beer and food for purchase, must be 21 and over.
